Internal Control

Indicators

Every organisation or institution needs to monitor the resources available to it in order to ensure effective management and achieve its strategic objectives.

For this purpose, the UNED Associated Centre in Pontevedra uses a series of indicators to monitor and control its financial management. The targets associated with these indicators are reviewed quarterly. They reflect the financial situation of various areas considered strategic by the Centre's Management and, through continuous analysis, support informed decision-making.

Some of the main indicators used are:

  • Indicator 1: % of budget appropriations executed out of total budgeted appropriations
  • Indicator 2: % of investment expenditure out of total expenditure
  • Indicator 3: % of own-source revenue out of total revenue
