Agreement´s Proccess in English

In this section we will explain the procedure for the processing of Agreements between the UNED and foreign Universities or Institutions.

During the process to formalize an international agreement, the necessary documentation and information must be presented, this process consists of the 5 steps explained below:

A) Documents certifying that the University/Institution in question is legally recognised by the Government of its country.

  • Entitling Statute or Order and method of creation
  • Internal bylaws
  • Governing Bodies: unipersonal and collective bodies (organisation chart)
  • Scope of activities: domestic or otherwise
  • Legal Nature of the Institution: public or private (Specifically: Legal Nature; Objectives of the Agreement; Legal Address).

B) Educational Offer concerning Higher Education:

  • Face to face Education Modality
  • Open and Distance Education Modality

D) Educational Offer concerning University Extension:

  • Face to face Education Modality
  • Open and Distance Education Modality

F) Methodology:

  • Printed and audiovisual didactic material published by the Institution.
  • Use of new technologies (TV and Net)
  • Publications (Journals, Gazettes) issued periodically.

C) Educational Offer concerning Primary and Secondary Education:

  • Face to face Education Modality
  • Open and Distance Education Modality

E) Number of students and teachers (global and classified in accordance with sections B, C and D above).

Specify whether or not there have been previous collaborations between both institutions, and the nature thereof.

A) Nature of the collaboration: Ph. D., exchange, advice, information, joint degrees, etc.

B) Estimated number of teachers and/or students who may be involved by the collaboration.

A) Specify the stage of the negotiations:

  • There is an intention to extend the term or the content of an existing agreement
  • The execution of the Agreement is requested in order to legalise an existing collaboration

B) There is an intention to enter into a new Agreement:
  • A first contact has already taken place (with UNED’s Vice-chancellorship/s, Faculties, Departments...). Specify.
  • No previous contact has taken place. Information and contacts through which collaboration may be established are therefore requested.

Send a logo of the applicant University, in picture format (Word-compatible), so that a Framework Agreement may be published containing the official symbols of both institutions.

NOTE: 

The period for preparing a Collaboration Agreement ranges from 2 to 6 months, depending on the complexity thereof and on the time elapsed before the documentation and reports requested are actually received by this Vice-chancellorship
