Research activity
Her research interests are environment and health, urban ecology, environmental attitudes and ecological behavior, and food advertising, child health and its regulation policies. She was Visiting Researcher at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and the Universidad de La Habana.
Professional experience
She has been researcher of the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas (CSIC) and she has collaborated with the Ministerio de Medio Ambiente and the Fundación para la Investigación y Desarrollo Ambiental. She is member of Grupo de investigación en Medio Ambiente y Ciencias Sociales at the Instituto de Salud Carlos III-UNED. She has participated in diverse research projects funded by the National Plan I+D+I and by the European Commission.
Educational management experience
She has been Secretary and Vice-Dean of Students of the Faculty of Political Sciences and Sociology, Associate Vice-Rector of Teaching and Academic Planning, and she is currently Associate Vice-Rector of Summer Courses at UNED.
