Academic Information

Telecommunications Engineer from the University of Alcalá de Henares in 2004 and Doctor in Industrial Engineering, within the Electrical, Electronic and Control Engineering Systems Program from the National Distance Education University in 2010.

Research activity

As a result of doctoral studies in the area of Electrical, Electronic and Control Engineering Systems, I have participated in more than 100 national and international congresses; I have given rise to the registration of several intellectual properties; several book chapters have been published, some indexed in Thomson Reuter's "Book Citation", as a chapter within the book "The Robotics Divide" by Editorial Springer; Likewise, I have published articles in journals indexed with an impact index, highlighting an article in the journal Renewable Energy Elsevier (Journal Citation Reports (JCR) 2,978). Starting from the bases established in the thesis on the analysis of user identification information, I have proceeded to continue in the study and analysis of data, which generated a publication in 2015 in the Journal of Universal Computer Science (JCR 0.466) and in 2019 another publication in IEEE Access magazine (JCR 4,098). In addition to this line of research, two more lines of research were followed in parallel, provided by the more than 30 research projects of which the department has been taken and is currently taking part.
On the one hand, the use and integration of remote and virtual laboratories in university teaching, as well as their integration into an international network of universities for sharing and reusing laboratories, with special interest in the VISIR remote laboratory. Said investigation has provided the registration of 2 intellectual properties; book publications; several publications in magazines with an impact factor, highlighting the publication in the IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine (JCR 5) and the IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies (JCR 0.823); and the contribution in numerous congresses.
The other line of research is based on using mobile technologies in a collaborative and ubiquitous way for learning. This research generated a new intellectual property registry, as well as several publications with an impact factor, highlighting the publication in "Computers & Education Elsevier" (JCR 2,621).

Throughout the research activity and the participation in the different research projects, it has given rise to numerous publications in congresses and impact indexed publications (JCR), focusing these publications in the area of Educational Technology and Renewable Energies.
