Academic Information
I graduated from Murcia University, where I was ranked first in my class, with a degree in Psychology in 2006. I received an M.A. in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of La Laguna (Tenerife) in 2008 and a Ph.D. in 2013, the latter thanks to a FPU grant from the Ministry of Spain. My Ph.D dissertation was titled “The Temporal Course of Negation: Processing and Representation.” Thereafter, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow (Juan de la Cierva Formación) at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED, Madrid) until 2017. Currently, I am an Associate Professor at UNED. My duties include the following: teaching Psychology of Thinking and researching. My interests lie in how people reason and process language (negation and counterfactual) using eye-tracking.
