Academic Information

Natividad Duro Carralero has a degree in Physical Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid (1995) and a PhD in Sciences from the National University of Distance Education (2002).

Academic positions held

Deputy Vice-Rector for Methodology and Technological Innovation at UNED from 2013 to 2016.

Secretary of the doctoral program in Systems and Control Engineering from 2016 to 2021.

Director of the Department of Computer Science and Automation from 2021 to the present.

Research activity

Co-author of more than 30 publications with impact index (JCR). Collaborator in more than 10 competitive research projects. Currently IP of a national plan research project.

Main research areas:

Data mining and machine learning.
Control and simulation of processes.
Big data.
Virtual or remote laboratories.

Professional experience

Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Automation of the UNED since 2000.
