Ph.D. degree in software engineering and computer systems from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), in 2016.

M.Sc. degree in computer science from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain, 1996.

- Professor with the Software Engineering and Computer Systems Department, Computer Engineering School, UNED since 2004.

- Academic Secretary of the Software Engineering and Computer Systems Department, Computer Engineering School, UNED from 1/3/2015 until now.

- Academic Secretary of the Access University Department  in UNED from 1/12/2002 until 30/09/2004.

Research activity

My research activity covers various aspects of the area of software and systems engineering: multi-paradigmatic approaches for the generation of software, software product lines and middleware systems for the acquisition of information in the Internet of Things. I have participated in various research competitive projects works related with all these topics. Regarding the research activity, i have two research sexenniums.
