Research activity

My research career has been focused on the field of automation and control systems. Specifically, I have worked in networked control systems and cyber-physical systems developing event-based control and multi-rate control strategies for the optimization and efficient use of resources in these systems. I have also studied also the experimental application of these strategies in nonlinear systems, and remote laboratories for engineering education. I have participated in 9 research projects related to these research lines, one of them as principal investigator.
