Industrial Engineer (Politechnical University of Madrid 1993)

This academic background is completed with more than 10 specialization and teaching innovation courses.

He is also Senior Technical in Occupational Risk Prevention and Specialist in
Loss assessment and accident investigation.

Research activity

Collaborating researcher in aid for research and innovation projects related to building and industrial safety, as a researcher from 2014 to date in 4 significant internal projects for the School of Engineering (ETSII-UNED).

Member of the Manufacturing Engineering Society and of the REM and PATRIF Workgroups, where scientific outreach and research activities are carried out.

Professional experience

Associate Professor of the Construction and Manufacturing Engineering Dpartment (ETSII-UNED) since 2010, Teaching in the official degrees of Industrial Engineering, Technical Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Industrial Technologies fields) , Master program in Industrial Engineering, Master program in Occupational Risk Prevention, as well as Direction of other Final Degree Projects.

Among other teaching merits, he has been working as Professor since 2015 in several Degrees and tutorized at the Associated Center of Madrid-UNED.

He is co-authorship of 2 teaching books

He has more than 25 years of experience in Managing national and international projects for the construction of industrial plants and manufacturing. Most of the projects are related to Oil&Gas and Petrochemical environments.

  • Simulación edificios sostenibles Diseño de modelos para simulación y estudio de la compacidad de los edificios y su contribución a la eficiencia de los procesos de construcción.
  • Análisis y optimización de edificación sostenible Análisis de las técnicas de simulación actuales para la construcción y de las tipologías en edificios sostenibles.
  • Análisis de la mejora de la seguridad en entornos industriales Aplicación de las técnicas estadísticas a los resultados obtenidos como consecuencia de las medidas realizadas en distintos puestos de trabajo ,y en el ámbito de la ingeniería de riesgos en proyectos
  • Identificación y tratamiento de los riesgos aplicados en entornos industriales Análisis de las técnicas de apreciación del riesgo aplicable en entornos industriales
