Academic Information

Professor Eva María Rubio is Aeronautical Engineer (1997) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and PhD in Industrial Engineering (2002) from the National University of Distance Education (UNED). She is a University Professor at UNED, in the Department Manufacturing Engineering of the School of Industrial Engineering.

She is the Coordinator of the Master's Degree in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and the Teaching Innovation Group Industrial Technologies in Productive Environments (GID-TIA Plus), is the author of several teaching publications and has directed more than twenty End of Degree Projects; having obtained two of them the Award to the best Final Project of Studies of the Manufacturin Engineering Society. She has three periods of five-year teaching recognized.

She is a lecturer of the Doctorate Program in Industrial Technologies of the International School of Doctorate of UNED and she is a member of the Research Group of the UNED "Industrial Production and Manufacturing Engineering - (IPME)".

She has realized several research stays in national centers (CIM Center of the Polytechnic University of Cataluña and the Catalan Institute of Technology (2000) and University of Cadiz (2003)), and international (research stays at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (2004, 2006 y 2008)).

She has been the director of 4 Doctoral Thesis and more than 50 Master Thesis.

She has published different research papers in prestigious national and international journals and she has three periods of six-year of research recognized

She has been developing several evaluation activities of research projects for AENOR and ACIE.
