Academic Information

Ramón Rueda López holds a Business Administration and Management degree (2011) and a Regional and Local Law Master's degree (2012), both from the University of Córdoba. He also holds a PhD in Legal and Business Sciences (2016), also from the University of Córdoba.

Academic positions held

  • Interim Substitute Professor in the Business Organisation Department at the University of Córdoba between October 2017 and July 2021.
  • Assistant Professor in the Business Organisation Department at the University of León between July 2021 and March 2023.
  • Lecturer in the Business Organisation Department at the University of León between March 2023 and September 2025.
  • Visiting Professor at the Indoamérica Technological University of Ecuador to participate in the Master's Degree in Social and Solidarity Economy Organisation Management (2019 and 2020 academic years) and in the Master's Degree in Education with a specialisation in Educational Innovation and Leadership (2020 and 2021 academic years).

Research activity

His research has generally focused on areas such as tourism and labour relations. He has published work in various scientific journals that are indexed in the SSCI and ESCI of JCR, as well as in SJR. He has also co-authored several books and book chapters. In 2016, he won First Prize for Research and Innovation in Interculturality from the Inca Garcilaso Chair of Interculturality at the University of Córdoba.

Professional experience

Ramón Rueda López enjoyed an extensive professional career in international cooperation between 1996 and 2012. During this time, he worked for several non-governmental organisations in Andalusia, Spain..
