  • REAL ESTATE, PROPERTY REGISTRY AND BUILDING LAW

    The  Real Estate, Property Registry and Building Law Research Group (DERINRE)  aims to research ,  disseminate  and provide  training  in both real estate law in its most traditional sense and in the most recent aspect that analyses the impact on the real estate sector as a result of the development and application of New Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data. + info

RESEARCH PROJECTS

  • Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Legal Framework of Building Agents

    The project examines the impact of smart technologies on the construction process through the role of building agents. Since current regulations address issues from the 20th century, the need for an update is considered in response to rapid technological advancements, particularly in Artificial Intelligence. To this end, a multidisciplinary team of architects and legal experts studies the application of these technologies in construction and their legal implications.

    The project aims to reduce youth unemployment in coastal and island regions of the Mediterranean by strengthening NEETs' skills in resilient sectors such as agri-food production and the circular economy. Through a multi-level methodology, it promotes social entrepreneurship and the sharing economy, combining local strengths with European best practices and fostering agri-food clusters with transnational connections. + info

  • Mediation: Training and Society Transformation - Mediats

    The project aims to strengthen the role of universities in mediation in Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine, promoting democracy and objective conflict resolution through European best practices. Its objectives include developing master's programs and courses in mediation, establishing sustainable structures such as federations and mediation centers, and promoting mediation values within society. + info
