Puestos académicos desempeñados

He sido profesor de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, de la Universidad de Murcia, de la University of Leicester y, desde 2017, soy profesor de la UNED.

He sido investigador visitante en el CEACS-Fundación Juan March de Madrid, en la University of Essex, en la University of Chicago, en la University of Salford, en la University of Manchester y en PACTE-Sciences Po Grenoble. En el curso 2020-2021 fui profesor invitado en Sciences Po, París. He sido Associate Research Fellow en el Centre d'études europénnes et de politique comparée de SciencesPo (Paris), 2022-2024.

Actividad Investigadora

En la actualidad desarrollo principalmente investigaciones relacionadas con los dos proyectos de investigación de los que soy o he sido Investigador Principal en años recientes, financiados en las convocatorias competitivas del Plan Nacional de I+D del Gobierno de España. Así, trabajo desde hace años sobre el voto a partidos de izquierda radical en Europa y, más recientemente estoy trabajando en el análisis de las actitudes hacia la implicación de expertos en los procesos de toma de decisiones políticas. Además, continúo interesando en el estudio de la participación e implicación en organizaciones políticas y en el análisis de los efectos de la precariedad sobre el voto y las actitudes políticas.
