José I. Torreblanca is Professor of Political Science at the Department of Political Science of UNED University in Madrid. A former Fulbright Scholar and a Fellow of the Juan March Institute in Madrid, his field of research covers EU decision-making, institutional reforms and Eastern enlargement.
